You may say, hand on heart, it's indeed like at mother's home. People are remarkably and the atmosphere is relaxing and battery charging for another week of work. We stayed two nights, and I can say, from arrival, when we were wellcomed even the ours were late, till sunday departurea - we were part of the family of the respected tourists.We cannot forget the wonderfull "bulz" made by the master of the house and the grilled trout made by Mr. Victor.

We spent just one night at Casa Popa but the place and the owners remained in our souls. Clean and hospitable, with a wonderful yard and honest and hardworking people. Our little kid liked very much and he keeps asking when are we going to visit Casa Popa again. 
We'd like to come back for a simple and quiet vacation.

Excellent accommodation, but especially exemplary cleaning, very special people have made our vacation unforgettable!
Recommended for all those who respect themselves and respect others equally, Casa Popa. They will feel better than home because the care and affection that Mrs and Mr. Popa surround their guests Mrs and Mr. Popa is hard to find nowadays!

Honestly worth comming here. Very hospitable people. I was surprised that this was the only place where we were warmly greeted  .... I recommend to all those who want to spend their free time in a place with a wonderful landscape, nice people and irreproachable accommodation standards.

It's a long time since I haven't been to a romanian pension, but I didn't expect everything to be perfect in this house. And it was, wonderful people. 
I recommend it to everyone who is going to visit Balea. Clean, quiet, cheap, modern, with taste. EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN ACCOMMODATION.
